Rev. Bob Turk Education / Discipleship
Bob has retired from three careers already. He was a pilot for the US Air Force retiring in 1988. He then worked for a local defense contractor as a Senior Buyer and Purchasing Training Manager, retiring in late 1999. Then he began a career in the professional ministry as a Licensed Local Pastor, retiring in 2010. He holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Golden Gate University and a Master of Theological Studies from Perkins School of Theology. After establishing their new home in our area, Bob felt the call to return to the ministry in a limited manner and will assist us where possible and needed, especially in teaching and nurturing ministries. He and his wife Pat, love to care for their grandchildren living in Roanoke, he plays golf, and they both love to read and to share the love of Christ with others.
