Baseball & Softball Forum feature MLB Pitcher and Coach Larry HardyFebruary 15, 2024

Join Larry Hardy at Fellowship United Methodist Church on Thursday night, Feb 15 at 7 pm to 9 pm for a roundtable/forum/clinic on baseball and softball.  All parents and coaches are invited.  The intent is to share my 53 years of professional baseball experience by giving tips on preparing to practice and play.  My playing career covers pitching in the major leagues with San Diego and Houston and all minor league levels that took me to the big leagues.  My last years on the field were spent as a major league coach with the Rangers.  Also, I coached and managed in the minor leagues for Houston, Toronto and San Francisco.  Prior to coaching for the Rangers, I scouted the National League for the organization.  Since my time with the Rangers, I have been working for MLB observing the umpires.

Multiple instructional topics will be covered and there will be time for questions.  There would not be Major League baseball without the encouragement and help from parents and coaches at the youth league levels.  My Dad passed away at age 39, when I was 11 years old and to this day, I still remember us playing catch and him coaching my Little League teams.  Join me in spending two hours talking baseball and hopefully learning a few things that will help anyone interested in helping their child learn the game.  Be you a parent or a coach.
