HyoJeong (Julie) Kim Pianist/Organist

We welcome HyoJeong (Julie) Kim to the Fellowship UMC Staff!

HyoJeong (Julie)Kim, has developed an international appeal as a Pianist in France, Germany, Korea and the United States.

HyoJeong (Julie) is a DMA (Doctor Musical Arts) student at the University of North Texas. She earned a Bachelor degree from the Department of the Classical Piano at Hanyang University, in Seoul, Korea. She earned her Master of Music Degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford.

She has received many awards; Piano Solo Achievement at Oeun Arts Festival, First Prize Winner in Piano at Korean Music Association competition, Excellence Award in Music Subject, and Third Prize at National Student Music Promotion hosted by Venusto Artist Federation. Her performance interests include collaborative opportunities in addition to solo piano performances. She serves as a piano accompanist in UNT symphonic band and for musicians in DFW area.

In addition to serving as pianist/organist here at Fellowship UMC HyoJeong (Julie) is also enthusiastic about her teaching. She was a piano instructor at institutions including Park Cities School of Music and CMIT Music institute of Music.

HyoJeong (Julie) just started her married life with Andrew and newly adopted puppy, Roa. Andrew and HyoJeong love to go hiking and camping. Whenever they get a chance, they look for a new trail. One of their most memorable camping trips was their weekend at Big Bend National Park in Texas.

They are happy to live in Texas and enjoy married life together!
